Although I only met 梅芝 and everyone else about a year or two ago she will hold a special place in my memories and will be sadly missed. I only met 梅芝 about six times or so at the regular meetings, whereas many of you have attended these meetings for a lot longer and more often must be deeply saddened by her loss.

梅芝 was just like other sisters and brothers, sharing her views, with laughter at times, on the topics of the evening and praying. As it was a long time ago, I vaguely recall a funny thing she said about
something she bought from the shopping mall… I wish my memory serves me much better to be able to cherish her then humorous moment.

It was not until one of the gatherings at 有任 home that I learned  梅芝 had contracted a terminal illness, I felt numb for sometime and truly admired her for continuing to attend the weekly gathering, and maintaining a positive outlook in life; a testament that God is with her!

It seems so sudden that 梅芝 was admitted into hospital, I felt all along that she would be fine and get well. I now wish I could have done more to help out 鵬飛 during those difficult time, besides just
visiting her once in their home. That one day, we all prayed hard for her speedy recovery, and it was then that I also met her children. They are grown up and about to finish college.  梅芝 and 鵬飛 should be proud parents for such a great job in raising their family.

梅芝 will forever live in my heart….. and in our hearts.
This is the moment for all of us to be grateful that we were given the chance to have met and known 梅芝.
